LOVEFiLM is awesome!

Hey,

So over the Christmas holidays, I subscribed to LOVEFiLM on Xbox 360, and it's pretty awesome stuff! Not only does it meen I can watch The Polar Express over and over again, but I also have access to shed loads of short films.

Watched a pretty weird one yesturday called 'Cashback (2004)' and I'll pop a review up later today (hopefully).

Christmas is fast approaching, and with that comes the January A-Levels and loads of revision (fun!) so sorry if i've been a little lax on posts recently. Gonna get all this festive cheer out of the way and then do some sort of analysis or something.

Oh and by the way, Santa if your reading this, please bring me my school some computers that actualy work this Christmas :)

If hell was a school network...

Hooray! More bad news!

A few weeks ago I posted about potential problems with Adobe Premiere Pro. These problems are no longer potential . . .

After numerous conversations with technitions etc. we have been left with the problem that it just isn't going to work without major lag and constanct crashing. We are also only 1 and a half minutes into our five minute film, so we can only guess how slow it will become once we progress further.

So after trying and failing multiple times to get some sence out of Premiere, we have descided to abandon the main task (for now) and get to work on the poster (which is in the post bellow). Hopefully, these problems will be ironed out soon, and we can plow on, like the happy and industrious indipendant film makers that we are!

The Poster

Afternoon,

Just got out of a very productive media lesson, in which we finished mocking up 2 posters for The Lost Ones. We then put the two posters back to back on a PowerPoint and asked our classmates to vote for which one they preferred. With 7 votes to 2, the class voted in favor of this one.

This is by no means the finished article, but it does give you a good idea. Click on it, to view it bigger.
