A few little bits and pieces.

People's Park, Halifax

Morning.

I'm currently sat in Caffe Nero on a dull, rainy, grey British morning, and thought it might be worth updating my blog with a couple of bits and pieces. Why not.

Location - I was just thinking to myself, might the confines of a pub or bar be a little restrictive? I quite like the thought of perhaps filming this outdoors, in a park. There's a local park not too far from where I live, with very Victorian architecture etc. I think that this would be an awesome backdrop to our film, as the beautiful natural surroundings would perhaps suggest that Violet is at one with nature again, being taken away. Obviously, I'll have to run this concept by my group, but I really think that this could work!

Also, although not directly related to this project, I've decided to team up with Nathan & Sam at Six String Studios to help produce my new film The Tower. I was hoping to film this over the summer holidays of 2011, but due to various reasons, it never happened. Now, we hope to film this over December, January & February, being directed and scripted (in the final drafting stage) by myself & filmed, produced etc. by Six String Studios. The film will be under the two production companies APM Films & Six String Studios.

Anyway, that's enough from me. Hopefully, I'll create a separate blog for The Tower, when we get started with the filming process.
