Some Funky Edits!

Morning!

Just thought I'd post some of the edits of Violet that we've been working on.

This first effect uses bright blues, gausian blur and high brightness levels. We feel that this represents the memory of Violet that is fading away in the mans mind. The blue colours perhaps represent heaven and inocence.

This effect relys heavily on cineon colouration, to reflect the dark side of the mans mind, who is scared at the thought of losing his fiance forever. It is quite vivid and shows the bold memory of Violet resting in his head.

This red shot can represent the danger of bringing old memories to the table. This vivid colour scheme has been inspired by some of the shots in Natural Born Killers (See Earlier Posts).

This black and white shot can be seen to replicate film noir cinema, perhaps putting the character of Violet in the role of femmes fatales, perhaps again reflecting the danger of recalling new memories.
